Hello Everyone....It's Baaack! That white stuff we love to shovel, plow, play in and throw is here and there's going to be a lot of it.
There are Winter Storm Warnings in the Catskills and Mohawk Valley and Winter Weather Advisories EAST of the Hudson.
In general, that means anywhere from 4 inches to 18 inches in and around the Hudson Valley.
With this said, I think it would be a good idea to activate the Weather Net beginning at 7AM and then every 2 hours until further notice.
The NET will operate at 3.835MHZ but....if the frequency is being used, check 3.830 or 3.840.
All of the data is sent to the National Weather Service in Albany and the NYC TV Stations.
You do NOT need to have a weather station. Here's the info we will need:
Temperature
Wind Speed
Current Conditions---Very Important!!!
Snow Depth---Very Important!!!!
If you have additional data, great.
Looking forward to hearing from many of you on the nets tomorrow.
STAY SAFE!!!!

Good Morning Everyone.....It's pretty miserable out there this morning but for some of us, not as white as we first thought.
The Mid-Hudson Valley is seeing mostly rain or mixed precipitation while our neighbors in the Western Catskills and Mohawk Valley are getting a good dose of wet snow.
All of us will see some snow later today and this evening before the storms gets outta here.
The 7AM Net was difficult because 80m was really busy this morning and we had to move around a bit.
We will try the 9AM Net on 3.835 but may have to move if the bands remain crowded. Please look for us on 3.830 or 3.840 or nearby if 3.835 is occupied.
We look forward to hearing from you at 9AM and thanks!
