Good fun was had by all at the OMARC location of the HR3 event on Saturday at Kingston Point. Good contacts with Europe on voice (20M) and FT8 (10M?). But only a few contacts with the other Hudson River stations! (Elevation? Angle of attack? Love the location but maybe a new spot next year.)

No trees were used for this event. We used Doc's KJ2DOC portable tower and a beefy but light tripod/mast rig set further out in the field. Horizontal on the tower is the 10-15-20M tribander, oriented approx NE-SW. On top vertical is a Diamond 3nn(?) for VHF. Receding into the background from the tower is a long wire, mainly for 40M, oriented approx WNW. Also in background, some South Asian guys, who were doing cricket plays and grilling burgers. Also there was a car show there that day.

Four or five rigs. Ant on top is a squalo but cut-off in this picture and I don't know what the one under it is.

Great pics David, thanks so much for posting these.
I was able to contact N2D and N2B. Looking forward to the after action analysis and report when it is available.
We can learn a great deal by understanding and comparing the results achieved, the operating conditions and the amount of time spent operating at each station.
